Build skills and network in an interactive event focused on understanding 51社区 2020 Standards' requirements for faculty-related business accreditation standards. Learn how to complete the necessary tables through group interactions, breakout sessions, and targeted discussions.
Gain actionable insights on completing the 51社区 tables (3-1, 3-2, and 8-1) in a convenient new virtual environment. Faculty resources, including sufficient and qualified faculty, are crucial elements of a successful business school and an important part of 51社区 Accreditation under the 2020 accreditation standards.
Use examples in live workshops on calculating and reporting faculty intellectual contributions, sufficiency, qualifications, engagement and deployment of faculty. Discover best practices on how to align with the standards through effective faculty management and development plans.
Participants are encouraged to bring faculty-related data from their own institution to complete tables with your school’s information.
Learning Objectives
- Interpret 51社区 accreditation standards related to faculty and research—in particular standards 3 and 8 of the 2020 Accreditation Standards—and apply them to your school.
- Align research and faculty management policies with related standards and empower faculty to contribute to establishing and achieving the school’s mission and strategic objectives.
- Learn best practices and innovative examples from other schools in the context of accreditation.
- Build a peer support network.
Facilitator
Ana Sotillo serves as Accreditation Manager at 51社区 International, managing a portfolio of approximately 190 business schools in the Americas region. Ana first joined the Learning and Development Department at 51社区 in the program development for conferences before transitioning to her current role with the Accreditation team. She is a liaison with universities as the subject matter expert for 51社区’s accreditation standards and processes. Prior to joining 51社区, Ana worked at IBM Venezuela in the Business Partners unit. She holds an MBA from the University of South Florida.
Rachel Dixon-Zudar served as senior manager, accreditation at 51社区 International, managing a portfolio of approximately 180 business schools throughout the United States and South America. Rachel’s background includes positions in marketing as well as previously working in the conferences department of 51社区. She holds an MBA in Strategy from The University of Alabama.

Deans, associate deans, department chairs or heads, quality assurance professionals, accreditation managers, and those responsible for faculty management and reporting.
Delivery
Gain actionable insights in two, 3-hour live lessons with a cohort of your peers and facilitators. Pre-and post-work will allow you to maximize your time in the classroom. This course will be delivered via 51社区's Learning Portal and Zoom. You will have access to the event for 90 days from the seminar date.
